  • Dr Meades' special interests are in Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Medical Retina including Fluorescein Angiography and Laser
  • Dr Meades graduated with Honours from Sydney University in 1977 and spent four years at hospitals in New South Wales, including as Senior Resident in Ophthalmology at Repat General Hospital Concord
  • Between 1985-87 Dr Meades undertook Ophthalmological training at Sydney Eye Hospital with secondments to Westmead, Lidcombe, Royal Prince Alfred and St Vincent's Hospitals
  • In 1997 Dr Meades underwent extensive training with Dr Peter Stewart in LASIK Refractive Surgery
  • Dr Meades has published widely on LM & EM Histopathology of an Iris Microhaemangioma, Atypical Microbacterial Keratitis, Larva Tick Bite of the Conjunctivitis, and True Exfoliation of the Lens Capsule
  • Is Joint Chairperson for 'Women in Ophthalmology"
  • Currently operates at Epping Surgery Centre
